NEW YORK — Ahead of an event in New York where U.S. officials were expected to present the next steps for implementing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Armenia is now focused on putting the initiative into practice.
“It will open a new era for our country and our economy,” Pashinyan said during a panel discussion at the Concordia Annual Summit.
According to Pashinyan, implementation of TRIPP would fully open regional connectivity and help bring the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative to fruition.
The prime minister also said that with the establishment of peace, Armenia’s attractiveness to investors would “steadily increase.”
U.S. officials in New York were expected to present the financial and institutional mechanisms through which TRIPP would move into the implementation phase.
