YEREVAN — On July 30, Armenian Cup and Super Cup holders Noah hosted Moldova’s Zimbru at the Vahagn Tumasyan Stadium in Abovyan in the second leg of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.
The first leg between the two teams had ended in a 1-1 draw.
Noah secured a 2-1 victory in Abovyan. Manvelyan opened the scoring for the Armenian side in the first half, while Sangaré added a second after the break. Jonatas scored Zimbru’s only goal.
With the victory, Noah advanced to the third qualifying round of the Conference League, where the Yerevan-based club will face the winner of the tie between Sion and BATE.
In another second-round return leg, Yerevan’s Pyunik hosted Hungary’s Debrecen at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.
The Hungarian side had won the first leg 1-0. The return match in Yerevan ended in a goalless draw.
As a result, Pyunik lost the tie on aggregate and ended its European campaign for the season.
Armenia’s third representative, Alashkert, traveled to Romania to face Cluj in its second-leg match.
The first meeting between the two teams had ended in a 1-1 draw.
The hosts won the return leg 3-0, with Muar, Korenica and Fica finding the net. Alashkert played with 10 men from the 12th minute following César’s dismissal.
Cluj won the tie 4-1 on aggregate, bringing Alashkert’s European campaign to an end.
