STRASBOURG — Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Thomas DiNanno announced the completion of negotiations on an agreement concerning cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy during a meeting held in Paris.

During the meeting, the officials discussed ways to deepen the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States across various areas.

Mirzoyan and DiNanno expressed satisfaction with the completion of negotiations on the agreement between the governments of Armenia and the United States on cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy. They also emphasized their readiness to sign the agreement through the appropriate format and to further expand cooperation in the sector.

The discussions also addressed regional infrastructure projects.

The two sides additionally exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
