ARMENIA — The Global Armenian AI Girls Award officially launches this July, inviting Armenian girls aged 13–19 from around the world to participate in a unique online competition focused on artificial intelligence (AI). Organized by FEMINNO, the initiative aims to connect Armenian girls from Armenia and the diaspora, inspire them to explore the world of AI, and build a new global Armenian community.

The competition is open to Armenian girls living anywhere in the world. No previous AI, technical, or programming experience is required – only curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.

Participants will receive online instructions and complete a series of practical challenges as they advance through the competition’s three stages. In the fully online final stage, selected finalists will receive mentorship from experienced professionals and AI experts from around the world who have joined the initiative to support the next generation of Armenian talent. Along the way, participants will gain valuable AI knowledge, connect with peers from different countries, and compete for cash prizes, special awards, and the grand prize – an international trip.

As an organization dedicated to advancing women and girls in innovation, FEMINNO created this initiative not only to introduce teenage girls to the fundamentals and responsible use of artificial intelligence, but also to help cultivate a generation of Armenian girls who will shape the technologies of tomorrow, not simply use them.

FEMINNO also welcomes donations to support the program and invites partners to contribute prizes and resources.

Registration is open through July 15, and the three-stage competition will take place from July through November. More information and registration details are available through FEMINNO’s official platforms.
