YEREVAN — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the United States has assured Armenia at the highest level that activities related to the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project have not slowed down but have instead accelerated.

Speaking during a Q&A session in parliament, Pashinyan said both Armenia and the U.S. aim to implement the project within the shortest possible timeframe.

He noted that discussions are underway to accelerate the construction of power transmission lines and emphasized that both Armenia and the U.S. now view TRIPP as a top priority. Azerbaijan has also shown interest in the project.

Pashinyan stressed that work on TRIPP is ongoing on a near-daily basis.

“There is no working day when I do not address issues related to TRIPP or give instructions on the matter,” he said.

The prime minister also acknowledged that there had previously been concerns about whether the U.S. still viewed TRIPP as a priority, but said those concerns have now been resolved.

He recalled that on March 12, he had expressed doubts due to developments surrounding Iran, noting that U.S. attention at the time was focused elsewhere and could potentially affect timelines.
