YEREVAN — A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss issues related to the organization and hosting of the 8th European Political Community (EPC) Summit.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the EPC Summit, scheduled to take place in Yerevan on May 4, is a large-scale event of major political significance for Armenia’s international standing. He emphasized that enormous work has already been carried out to ensure the summit is organized and held at the highest level, and said the purpose of the meeting was to review the work already completed and outline the next steps.

Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the organizing committee for the 8th EPC Summit, Arayik Harutyunyan, stated that the preparatory work is approaching its final stage. He noted that the purpose of the meeting was to present the work already completed and to hear the country’s leadership’s observations and proposals before finalizing preparations.

Detailed presentations were then made on the event’s concept development and strategic planning. Discussions also covered other substantive and organizational matters, including infrastructure and technical readiness, logistical accessibility, and related issues.

The Prime Minister once again stressed the importance of holding the summit at the highest level and issued clear instructions regarding the next steps in various areas. He also instructed officials to provide detailed updates on the completed work.
