YEREVAN — Armenia continues to diversify its foreign economic relations by expanding the presence of Armenian products in international markets, according to a video released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Between January 1 and October 12, 2026, Armenia exported 908.6 tons of flowers to 30 countries, including neighboring Turkey, Iran, and Georgia, as well as markets in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North America.
European destinations included 14 European Union member states, along with Switzerland, Moldova, Ukraine, and Serbia. Other export markets included the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the United States.
According to the ministry, the geographical reach of Armenian flower exports has expanded significantly compared with the same period last year.
In 2025, Armenian flowers were exported to only seven countries: France, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Georgia, and Russia. This year, the list has grown to include 23 additional markets.
Within the European Union, Armenian flowers have reached the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Romania, and France.
The ministry also noted that the European Union’s Autonomous Trade Measures (ATMs) for Armenia came into effect on October 10, 2026.
The expansion of export destinations reflects Armenia’s efforts to strengthen international trade relationships and increase access to foreign markets for domestically produced goods.
