The U.S. Embassy welcomes the announcement by American artificial intelligence company Firebird regarding an initial investment of $500 million in Armenia, to be implemented in cooperation with Dell and NVIDIA.

According to the Embassy, this major advancement supports the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on AI and semiconductor cooperation signed during the August 8 Washington summit.

This is also an important step in U.S.–Armenia trade and investment relations.

Firebird, a U.S.-based AI cloud and infrastructure technology company, has received U.S. export authorization and announced its first $500 million investment in Armenia. This is the initial phase of a multibillion-dollar project aimed at bringing high-performance AI supercomputing infrastructure to the region. The development opens a new chapter in U.S.–Armenia cooperation in advanced technologies, innovation, and AI progress.

As previously announced by NVIDIA at the GTC conference in Paris, Firebird will establish one of the region’s most advanced AI computing clusters, operating with Dell Technologies’ high-performance PowerEdge AI servers and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. These processors will enable research institutions, tech companies, and enterprises to run state-of-the-art AI models at scale.
