US President Donald J. Trump and Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan at the Oval Office

WASHINGTON, DC — On January 11th, 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Varuzhan Nersesyan presented his credentials to the President of the United States Donald J. Trump.

Ambassador Nersesyan conveyed to President Trump the best regards on behalf of the President, Prime Minister and the people of Armenia and noted that it is a great honor and responsibility for him to represent Armenia in the United States during this crucial period.

During a brief conversation at the credentialing ceremony President Trump and Ambassador Nersesyan highlighted the steps towards expanding bilateral relations between Armenia and the United States in various areas. The interlocutors emphasized the role of the Armenian-American community in enhancing the friendship between the two nations.
