YEREVAN — Team Armenia won another gold medal at the Junior European Weightlifting Championships being held in Landskrona, Sweden.

Levon Manukyan was declared champion in the U17 62kg competition by lifting a combined weight of 253kg (111 kg + 142 kg).

As reported earlier, 15-year-old Armenian weightlifter Karen Margaryan of Etchmiadzin won a silver medal in  men’s 69 kg weightlifting event, he successfully lifted 246 kilograms (99 kg + 127 kg).
