On November 26, Armenian weightlifter Hripsime Khurhsudyan (75 kg) won gold in European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championship in Limassol, Cyprus. Khurshudyan lifted 250 kg in snatch (110kg), clean and jerk (140 kg) combination. Chrisztina Magat of Hungary took a silver medal (219 kg). Khurshudyan was ahead of Magat by 31 kg.
