YEREVAN — Armenia collected AMD 258 billion more in tax revenues during the first eight months of 2026 compared with the same period last year, State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan said.

“We have already summarized the August results. From January through August, we recorded growth of 14.6 percent. This means we are ahead of the planned target and also indicates a continued reduction of the shadow economy,” Hakobyan said.

He added that tax revenues collected from January through August were AMD 258 billion higher than during the same period last year.
