YEREVAN — A delegation from the American engineering company AECOM has arrived in Armenia to begin site research work related to the TRIPP initiative.
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the delegation, which visited Armenia under the auspices of the U.S. State Department’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment initiative.
Representatives of AECOM presented the main directions and expected outcomes of the upcoming feasibility assessment during the meeting.
Grigoryan emphasized the importance of the TRIPP project in strengthening regional peace and stability. He also highlighted the potential opportunities for unblocking regional communications and underscored Armenia’s significant transit potential for cargo and transportation routes passing through its territory.
The deputy prime minister had also hosted a U.S. delegation the previous day, during which the parties discussed and coordinated several operational and legal matters related to the implementation of TRIPP.
