COTTBUS — Armenia’s national team continued its medal-winning performances at the opening stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, currently underway in Cottbus, Germany.

Arthur Avetisyan delivered an outstanding performance for the team led by head coach Hakob Serobyan. In the rings final, the Armenian gymnast scored 14.366 points, claiming the top spot on the podium and securing the gold medal at this stage of the World Cup. In the same event, Armenia’s other representative, Arthur Davtyan, finished in fifth place with a score of 13.766.

Armenian athletes also achieved success in the pommel horse event. Mamikon Khachatryan earned the silver medal with an impressive score of 14.966. Competing in the same discipline, Hamlet Manukyan finished seventh with 14.166 points.
