YEREVAN — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Radmila Shekerinska, Deputy Secretary General of NATO.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of Armenia–NATO partnership and cooperation.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to cooperation with international partners, including NATO, in advancing the agenda of security and stability in the region.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General highly praised the partnership with Armenia and thanked the Prime Minister for previously receiving ambassadors accredited to NATO, noting the productive and substantive nature of those discussions.

The meeting also addressed the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, as well as subsequent developments. The sides exchanged views on steps aimed at unblocking regional communications, particularly in connection with the TRIPP and “Crossroads of Peace” initiatives.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
