In a multi-part film about the events of World War II, Armenia was shown in its historical borders, including the territory of modern Turkey, Ermenihaber reports.
The first to draw attention to this fact was the Turkish Maritime and Global Strategy Center (Türk DEGS), which considered this fact an assault on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Turkey.
The issue was also touched by the pro-government newspaper “Yeni Akit”, which refers to the opinion of many unhappy Turkish citizens, demanding that the Supreme Council of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (RTÜK) to take action and impose the most severe sanctions on Netflix.

The map pertains to the events of WW2. During that time Armenia SSR was located in the area depicted. There is not enough room given the size of the map to place Armenia completely within the borders outlined. What are the Turks griping about? Of course when your ancestors murdered 1.5 million people and as a nation you refuse to admit it, then you get defensive about anything that calls attention to your monstrous crimes.
“Meds Yeghern” is irrefutable! Have the Turks any conscience at all? True reconciliation will only come when Turkey gets tired of electing despots.
To answer Darwin. Travelling through turkey, I have not seen much conscience there. A lot of dark eyes though.
