During times of tragedy and war, the Armenia people in the homeland and Diaspora have come together, in unison to protect the interests, well -being, security and prosperity of our brothers and sisters in Armenia and Artsakh. Throughout our history, we have been a resilient people, overcoming centuries of oppression, war, famine, poverty and genocide. Today, our people face an enormous challenge and obstacle towards democracy and progress.

Since the independence of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR), Armenians have poured millions of dollars into NKR to ensure that proper infrastructures are in place; youth receive quality education in properly built schools, hospitals provide adequate healthcare to those who are ill, cultural centers serve the needs and interests of the betterment of the citizens of that region, and a government is elected by the people and for the people. Today, those very same institutions and citizens are under attack by the well-funded, highly militarized Aliyev dictatorship in Azerbaijan. Armenian civilian and military personnel have lost their lives fighting for our ancestral lands in NKR (Artsakh) while many are still missing in action.

Although most of us are unable to fight for their freedoms as soldiers, we can help them by donating funds to ensure that they are safe and have the resources necessary to survive and to thrive. Your monetary contribution, in any amount, will help those families who have been affected by the recent Azeri aggression. The Armenian Council of America is urging the Armenian community in the Diaspora to help our fellow brothers and sisters who are in a time of need. Together, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our brothers and sisters. Together, we can rebuild Artsakh. Please click on the link to make your contribution today.
