GLENDALE — On Saturday January 10, 2015 at 2:00pm the Brand Associates will be hosting the first concert in their 2015 Music Series. The artist performing will be New York based pianist Hayk Arsenyan. The program will consist of the following major works:

Hayk Arsenyan – Poem
Frederick Mompou – Three Preludes
Sergey Rachmaninoff – 3 Preludes op. 32, nos. 5, 10, 12
Komitas – Two Piano Dances – Unabi and Erangi
Franz Schubert – Piano Sonata in B-flat Major D. 960

The concert will also features a 15 Minutes of Fame segment, 15 new one minute pieces selected by and dedicated to Dr. Arsenyan from a call for scores which was administered by Vox Novus (www.voxnovus.com). The selected composers are Rodrigo Baggio (Brazil), Jon Bash (Washington), Joseph Bohigian (California), David Bohn (Wisconsin), David Bovernoff (South Africa), Carlos Hernandez (Ecuador), Jean de Lière (Netherlands), Jay Derderian (Oregon), Héctor Oltra García (Spain), Stephen F. Lilly (Washington DC), Daniel Bonaventure Lim (England), Franc Pesci (Germany), Juan Maria Solare (Germany), Steel Stylianon (Germany), Rain Worthington (New York).

The concert will be in the Brand Library Recital Hall. Admission is free and a reception will follow the concert.
