The Armenian Council of America (ACA) congratulates the people of the Republic of Armenia on the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026.

The elections provided an important opportunity for Armenian citizens to freely and democratically express their political will and participate in shaping the country’s future. According to the preliminary results, the majority of voters placed their trust in the ruling Civil Contract party led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

ACA reaffirms its commitment to Armenia’s democratic development and the continued strengthening of democratic institutions. At the same time, we emphasize the importance of constructive dialogue among all political forces and different segments of society in support of Armenia’s stability, security, and progress.

We are also convinced that, now more than ever, it is essential to deepen and strengthen Armenia–Diaspora relations. Strong and coordinated cooperation between Armenia and Armenians throughout the Diaspora can play a significant role in advancing the country’s development, economic growth, and international standing.

ACA remains committed to supporting the development of the partnership between Armenia and the United States and underscores the importance of continued U.S. support for Armenia’s democratic, economic, and security advancement.
