YEREVAN — Armenia has signed two major agreements with French aerospace company Airbus.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense, SOFEMA Group, and Airbus Helicopters signed contracts concerning the supply of equipment and transport helicopters to Armenia.

The agreements mark an important step toward improving the mobility and technical modernization of Armenia’s armed forces.

Armenian airline FlyOne Armenia and Airbus also signed an agreement for the acquisition of two new Airbus A321-200NX aircraft. The aircraft are known for their efficiency and comfort, which will allow the airline to expand its flight network and destinations.
