CAIRO — Armenia’s national artistic gymnastics team member and Olympic silver medalist Artur Davtyan won the gold medal at the latest stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup.

In the vault final at the World Cup event taking place in Cairo, Egypt, Davtyan earned the highest score of 14.666 in the competition, securing first place and the tournament title.

The day before, Armenia had already celebrated more success at this World Cup stage, with Hamlet Manukyan winning gold in the pommel horse, while Artur Avetisyan claimed the silver medal in the rings event.
