YEREVAN — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with participants of the Armed Forces leadership assembly at the Ministry of Defense.

Pashinyan emphasized the importance of modernizing the army and implementing consistent steps in that direction.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the strategic vision for the development of Armenia’s Armed Forces, the assessment of the new security environment, effective governance, the development of human resources, and other key issues.

The country’s leader also answered questions raised by members of the Armed Forces’ leadership.
