YEREVAN – The Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia reports that the property and financial assets of National Assembly member and former mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan, have been placed under seizure.

The Prosecutor General’s Office is demanding the confiscation of more than 2 billion drams in property and financial assets from Taron Margaryan and persons affiliated with him, as part of a lawsuit involving the confiscation of assets of illegal origin.

On September 8, 2025, the Prosecutor General submitted to the court the criminal case materials regarding Taron Margaryan.
