YEREVAN — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on his birthday. The message reads:

“Honorable Mr. President, dear Emmanuel,

I warmly congratulate you on your birthday and wish you good health, unwavering will and success for the benefit of France and the French people.

I would like to emphasize with special gratitude that during your presidency and thanks to your unwavering commitment, the privileged relations between Armenia and France, based on the centuries-old friendship and common values that unite our two peoples, have now entered a new important stage, transforming into a true strategic partnership.

I warmly recall my visit to Paris on December 7 and participation in the moving and symbolic event of the opening of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris.

I would also like to express gratitude once again for the continuous support of the friendly French Republic and for your personal efforts aimed at strengthening the sovereignty, resilience and democracy of Armenia, as well as at establishing lasting and just peace in the South Caucasus region.

Taking this beautiful opportunity, I would like to congratulate you on the upcoming holidays, Christmas and New Year, wishing you victories in all your endeavours in the new year, and peace and prosperity to the friendly French people.

With great anticipation of hosting you in Armenia next year, please accept, honorable Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration”.

  1. Armenia need weapons. Franc as a super power can supply all that. It is time for a complete rapprochement between Armenia and France.
