YEREVAN — Portugal national football team has arrived in Yerevan for Euro 2016 qualifier against Armenia, after holding training camp in Tbilisi, Georgia. Hundreds of Armenian football fans welcomed Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates at “Zvartnots” airport.

The match between Group I underdog Armenia and one of favorites Portugal will take place at the Vazgen Srakisian Republican Stadium on June 13. In the first-leg away qualifier in November Armenia lost to Portugal 0-1 Ronaldo scored the only goal.

Armenia will have to contend without attacking midfielder Yura Movsisyan, who has failed fitness test due to injury.

Portugal sit top of the group with nine points from four matches at the halfway stage, while Armenia and Serbia are bottom – having earned just one point each for their efforts thus far. Albania and Denmark have each 7 points.
