The Armenian Council of America – Political Action Committee (ACA-PAC) is proud to endorse Kathryn Barger for Los Angeles County Supervisor, District 5. Barger serves as the Chief of Staff to long-time friend of the Armenian-American community, LA County Board of Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. She is running to fill his seat, in the upcoming November 8 General Elections.

A lifelong resident of the 5th District, Barger has first-hand experience in dealing with issues in the county from public health to social services, public safety and security. Her commitment to job growth and dedication to constituent services, has earned Barger bipartisan support from many elected officials, including labor groups, law enforcement and community service organizations.

“After meeting with Barger to discuss issues that affect our community, we are not only impressed with her 28-year record of community service, but we also believe that it is a clear indication she is the best candidate for this seat,” said ACA-PAC Board Member Vahe Atchabahian. “We have had a very positive and productive working relationship with Supervisor Antonovich and we are confident that we will have the same longstanding relationship with Barger.”

ACA-PAC is encouraging all Armenian Americans who reside in the 5th District to vote for Kathryn Barger on November 8. The 5th District includes the areas of Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Sunland-Tujunga, La Crescenta, Sylmar, Porter Ranch, Chatsworth, Mission Hills, Granada Hills, Sun Valley, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, San Gabriel, Monrovia, Santa Clarita, San Marino, Palmdale and Lancaster.
