DOHA — Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan held a private meeting in Doha with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Khachaturyan expressed his deepest condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar over the death of Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, wishing them strength and resilience during this difficult time of loss.
During the meeting, the Armenian president noted that Qatar had experienced rapid development as a result of the extensive reforms implemented under Sheikh Hamad Al Thani’s skillful leadership.
President Khachaturyan also highly praised Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s contribution to strengthening and deepening Armenian-Qatari relations.
The two officials also discussed issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda and regional developments.
