YEREVAN — From the perspective of advancing Armenia–UN cooperation, both sides emphasized the importance of approving the framework document and implementing further joint programs within its scope.
“Our new cooperation framework is fully aligned with the Government’s priorities and provides an opportunity to integrate development policy with Armenia’s peace agenda. This enables us to pursue unified, coordinated, and forward-looking programmatic cooperation,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
“We are signing this Cooperation Framework at a crucial stage of Armenia’s development. The decisions made today will shape the country’s development path for decades to come. Our shared goal is to serve the people of Armenia—especially the most vulnerable. The year 2026 will be a people-centered year, marked by developments that emphasize trust, inclusiveness, and social cohesion,” said the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Armenia.
The framework sets the foundation for deepened collaboration between Republic of Armenia and the United Nations in advancing sustainable development priorities over the 2026–2030 period.
