On May 10th the top ten Grand finalists of the international song contest “Eurovision-2011,” were announced. Armenia’s representative, Emmy, did not qualify for the Grand Final. According to contest rules, the scores that European audiences and jury members gave the semifinals, are not advertised – the popular contest show just announced the names of the final contestants.

Emmy performed her song “Boom-Boom.” She appeared “in boxing gloves” on the stage along with four dancers from Greece who visually shaped a boxing ring.

The ten qualifiers announced from the First Semi-Final are Serbia, Lithuania, Greece, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Switzerland, Hungary, Finland, Russia and Iceland, as well as representatives of Britain, France, Spain, Italy and Germany, who automatically qualify for the finals on the bases of that these countries founded of the competition.

In addition to Armenia, artists from Poland, Norway, Albania, Turkey, Malta, San Marino, Croatia and Portugal failed to qualify to the final, and were eliminated from the competition.

Another 10 finalists are determined in the second semifinal, which will be held on May 12. A winner will be determined in the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2011 which will be held on May 14.
