YEREVAN — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation, the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office reported.
The two leaders exchanged views on regional and global developments, emphasizing the importance of advancing stable and lasting peace.
Pashinyan and Zelensky also discussed issues related to the bilateral cooperation agenda between Armenia and Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president congratulated Pashinyan on his reappointment as prime minister of Armenia.
Writing about the conversation on Telegram, Zelensky said relations between Ukraine and Armenia are becoming increasingly constructive.
“It is important that we maintain a continuous dialogue,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president noted that they also discussed the results of his recent visit to Armenia, as well as priority areas for further cooperation between the two countries.
The previous day, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also held a telephone conversation, during which they exchanged views on the regional situation and recent developments.
