YEREVAN — President of France Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Armenia on an official state visit.
He was welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
President Macron will participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community. The official program of the state visit will begin on May 5.
As part of his visit, Macron is also scheduled to travel to Gyumri on May 5, where he will attend a major concert event.
