YEREVAN — A regular session of the Constitutional Reform Council was held under the leadership of Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan. During the meeting, participants discussed provisions related to the executive branch, as well as regulations concerning the adoption, amendment, and referendum procedures of the Constitution.
Council member Daniel Ioannisyan presented draft provisions he authored regarding the right to internet access, emphasizing its importance in a modern democratic society and from the perspective of safeguarding fundamental human rights.
During the discussion, participants shared their observations, proposals, and professional assessments aimed at improving the presented drafts. The Council continues its work on the drafting of Armenia’s new Constitution.
