YEREVAN — Armenia’s airports served approximately 5.7 million passengers in 2025, marking a 7.5% increase compared to the previous year, according to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan.

Of the total, 1.3 million passengers were transported by Armenian airlines.

As part of a government support program, low-cost carrier Wizz Air established a base at Yerevan’s airport in October 2025.

During the year, 48 airlines operated regular flights across 67 destinations, with 10 new routes launched, including flights from Gyumri’s Shirak Airport to Larnaca.

Authorities plan to further expand flight geography, including additional routes from Gyumri.
