YEREVAN — Lilith Minasyan, a member of Armenia’s National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction, stated that hybrid interference against Armenia is being carried out through various international media platforms, primarily Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani outlets.

According to the MP, such hybrid attacks involve external interference that can manifest in different forms, including within the information space.

“From the perspective of external interference, different countries are involved, and we clearly observe these manifestations in Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani media,” Minasyan said.

She emphasized that such interference often includes the spread of disinformation, particularly targeting the Prime Minister and government authorities.

“These publications appear on various anonymous websites or modified versions of well-known platforms, aiming to mislead citizens. Authorities attempt to respond quickly and refute false information before it spreads widely,” she added.

Minasyan also called on media outlets to follow official rebuttals and support efforts to combat disinformation.

“We are working proactively to refute such information, and I urge media organizations to follow and disseminate these clarifications,” she concluded.
