ATHENS — During his state visit to Athens, President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with representatives of Greece’s business community at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Diplomats, business leaders from various sectors, as well as public and government officials, were also in attendance.
Ioannis Bratakos, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, delivered remarks expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the President of the Republic.
In his address, President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of initiating and regularly holding such bilateral business forums and meetings. He noted that the political, historical, friendly, and cultural ties between Armenia and Greece guarantee significant potential for cooperation across various trade and economic sectors. He stressed that this potential now requires full realization and expressed hope that high-level reciprocal visits would further contribute to the formation and expansion of economic ties between the two countries.
