YEREVAN — Armenia has been included in the list of the world’s safest countries for travel compiled by the World Travel Index, ranking 13th out of 193 countries with a score of 90.27.

The announcement was shared by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

The Prime Minister noted that the ranking reflects which countries offer the best conditions for travel safety.

“The year has started very well and continues just as well. I love you all,” Pashinyan wrote.

Armenia ranks above several destinations often widely viewed as top-tier “safe travel” countries, including Oman (#14), Singapore (#17), Japan (#23), and Iceland (#24).
