YEREVAN — A festive ceremony marking the lighting of the main Christmas tree took place in Yerevan’s Republic Square. The event was accompanied by fireworks and drew large crowds, including many residents of the capital, visitors from different regions, and guests.

On December 14, during the official ceremony to light the main Christmas tree in Republic Square, the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ensured public order and the safety of citizens.

No emergencies or incidents were recorded during the event.

At the same time, several dozen cases of temporary separation between children and their parents were reported. Thanks to the police’s prompt and well-coordinated actions, all children were quickly located and safely reunited with their parents.
