YEREVAN — Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Armenia today. His plane landed at Zvartnots Airport, where he was welcomed by Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan and Armenia’s Ambassador to Poland Alexander Arzumanyan.
Earlier, the Polish presidential office stated that President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda will undertake an official visit to Armenia from November 25 to 27.
President Duda will have meetings with President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, the Polish presidential office has said. Duda and Khachaturyan will hold a joint press conference.
On November 26, President Duda will visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
On November 27, a delegation led by President Duda will visit Yeraskh to participate in a joint patrol with the EU monitoring mission.
