YEREVAN — In the first round of the UEFA Conference League group stage, FC Noah hosted the Czech team Mladá Boleslav at the “Republican” Stadium on Thursday and secured an important victory with a score of 2-0.

During the first half, although Noah dominated the play, held a territorial advantage, and created several scoring opportunities, they were unable to convert them into goals. The deadlock was finally broken in the second half when, in the 58th minute, Mateusz Ayash scored from a counterattack to give Noah the lead.

Virgil Pinson doubled Noah’s advantage in the 76th minute with a wonderful strike, following an excellent pass from substitute Gonzalo Gregorio.

Noah will play its next match in the group stage on October 24 against Rapid in Vienna.
