YEREVAN (Armenpress) — Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan has confirmed the concept of “ArmHiTec-2016” first international arms and defense technologies exhibition. The exhibition will take place October 13-15 in “Yerevan Expo” exhibition center.

The exhibition will include the entire in-use arsenal, by moving forward the elaboration of innovative technologies and high precision weapons.

The exhibition includes combat management systems, communication devices and systems, automatic systems of troops’ control, robot systems, UAVs, aerial machines and systems, anti UAV systems, detection, search and inspection measures, precision weapons, laser technologies, optical-electronic devices and systems, air defense measures, radio-recon, radio-electronic and anti-radio measures, armaments of “Future Soldier”, technologies, equipments etc.

The exhibition aims at presenting modern military hardware and innovations of military industry of Armenia and other countries.

The event has sparked great interest among experts, which will greatly contribute to the broadening of Armenia’s international military-technical cooperation and strengthening the potential of export.
