LONDON (The Independent) — Liverpool have reportedly had a bid of £15m for Henrikh Mkhitaryan accepted by Borussia Dortmund.
The Reds have long been linked with the attacking midfielder and speculation that Brendan Rodgers could lead a bid resurfaced earlier this week.
According to reports, Juventus are also keen on the 26-year-old Armenia international, who joined his current side from Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2013.
Reports today suggest that a bid from Anfield has now been made – and accepted.
Mkhitaryan has made 94 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 24 goals and providing 20 assists.
In February, Mkhitaryan’s agent suggested his client’s future lay away from Signal Iduna Park: “Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season. We will have to wait and see what we can do.”
