Dear Compatriots,

On behalf of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Artsakh, the NKR Office in the United States encourages all Armenian Americans and all friends of Armenians to actively support the Telethon, organized by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund to raise funds for development of our Homeland. This year’s Telethon will take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM U.S. Pacific Standard Time.

For hundreds of thousand Armenians in U.S. and around the globe the Thanksgiving Day has already become a traditional day of unity and confidence in the future of our nation. In the past two decades more than $235 million were raised through the effort to build new roads, schools and hospitals in Armenia and Artsakh.

This year’s effort is dedicated to the construction of the Vardenis – Martakert Highway linking the northern regions of Armenia and Artsakh. The highway will connect villages and cities and promote socio-economic development, boost trade, and cooperation in the area.

“En Route Artsakh” says the slogan of the Telethon 2014 underlining the importance of this project. Connecting Armenian and Artsakh regions will provide development and economic sustainability for Artsakh and, will, undoubtedly, strengthen Nagorno Karabakh Republic’s security and independence.

The ‘Hayastan’ All-Armenian Fund envisages the following convenient ways for making tax-deductible donations:

1 – Log on to www.ArmeniaFundUSA.org and make a secure online donation;
2 – Call 1-800-888-8897 and donate using a credit card or make a pledge;
3 – Text the word ARMENIA to 80088 to donate $10 from your cell phone.

Broadcast live from Los Angeles, California, the event will be televised throughout the United States and worldwide on the web as well as satellite and cable networks. Additional information is available at www.ArmeniaFundUSA.org or http://www.armeniafund.org/telethon/telethon-2014/
