KAUNAS  – At the Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania, Armenia’s national futsal team played to a 3–3 draw against host Lithuania in the final, third round of Group B at the EURO 2026 group stage.

Armenia’s goals were scored by Denis Nevedrov, Mikael Khandilyan, and Vladimir Sanosyan. For the hosts, Edgaras Baranauskas netted a brace, while Gytis Vasylius added one goal.

With this result, the team led by head coach Ruben Nazaretyan finished the group stage with seven points and advanced as the top team in Group B, which also included reigning world bronze medalists Ukraine.

“It was a very difficult game. We made several changes to our squad. We wanted to win this game but we couldn’t score. Looking back at the group stage, we played very well in all three games. We go into the game against Croatia in a very good mood.” Nazaretyan stated after the match.

Armenia will face Croatia in the EURO 2026 quarterfinals. The match is scheduled for January 31 at 10:00 p.m. Yerevan time.
