MUNICH — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took part in a roundtable discussion titled “Minilateralism and the Shift from Global Alliances to Targeted Partnerships,” organized by the Applied Policy Research Institute of Armenia (APRI Armenia) and the Observer Research Foundation as part of the Munich Security Conference.
The discussion focused on changes in the global security environment, the effectiveness of large formal alliances, and the role of smaller, more flexible partnerships. The event continued in a closed format.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Pashinyan outlined Armenia’s consistent foreign policy aimed at strengthening a balanced and adaptable diplomatic approach. He emphasized that ensuring Armenia’s security and stable development requires building flexible, yet predictable and reliable partnerships.
Pashinyan also highlighted that Armenia’s foreign policy is designed to reinforce the country’s security and economic growth through constructive cooperation with international partners. Additionally, he touched upon the Armenian government’s key priorities, including efforts toward regional peace and the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
