Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Board of Trustees Approves New Strategic Development Priorities

YEREVAN — The Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund approved the Fund’s new strategic development priorities during a meeting held on September 15.

The meeting was chaired by President of the Board of Trustees and President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan. Members of the Board of Trustees, representatives of pan-Armenian Diaspora organizations and invited guests participated in the meeting.

The Fund’s Executive Director, Aramayis Avetisyan, presented the Board with a three-year development strategy, a roadmap for its implementation and the Fund’s key program priorities.

The strategy is structured around four interconnected areas: strategic development, organizational development, development of the Armenia-Diaspora cooperation ecosystem, and greater efficiency in financial and operational management.

The strategic discussion was preceded by a presentation on the work of the temporary committee established to develop the Fund’s strategic programs and improve the effectiveness of its operations. Committee member Petros Terzyan presented the results of the committee’s work to the Board of Trustees. The Board also discussed extending the committee’s mandate and defining its future responsibilities.

During the meeting, participants were also presented with a proposed new structure for the Fund’s executive body, including the distribution of functions and responsibilities, decision-making and accountability mechanisms, and planned organizational changes. The proposed operating budget for 2027–2029 was also discussed.

The approved strategic priorities are intended to place the Fund’s activities on a foundation of long-term planning, effective management and measurable results.

Executive Director Aramayis Avetisyan emphasized that the strategy was the result of a collaborative effort and thanked the Board of Trustees for its confidence and support.

With the decisions adopted by the Board of Trustees, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is entering a new phase of institutional development, focusing on stronger organizational capacity, clearly defined responsibilities, transparent governance and programs designed to deliver sustainable and measurable impact.
