YEREVAN — Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan met in Lachin on August 25 to discuss opportunities for importing and exporting electricity between the two countries, as well as possible options for connecting their energy infrastructure across the state border.
The working meeting brought together representatives of Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and the Armenian Electricity System Operator, along with representatives of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and AzerEnergy.
During the meeting, the sides discussed potential electricity imports and exports between Armenia and Azerbaijan and examined possible ways to interconnect the two countries’ energy infrastructure along the state border.
