Eagle Partner 2026 Military Exercise to Be Held in Armenia on June 17–25

YEREVAN — As part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the now-annual “Eagle Partner 2026” military exercise will be held in Armenia from June 17 to 25.

The exercise will include servicemembers from the Armenian Armed Forces’ peacekeeping unit, with 250 participants; U.S. Army Europe and Africa and the Kansas National Guard, with 58 participants; the French Armed Forces, with 24 participants; and the Greek Armed Forces, with 11 participants.

During the exercise, participants will conduct training focused on the preparation and execution of peacekeeping tasks.

The purpose of “Eagle Partner 2026” is to enhance the interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in command and tactical communication, and strengthen the readiness of the Armenian Armed Forces’ peacekeeping unit.

As part of peacekeeping mission preparation, units training for international peacekeeping operations regularly take part in similar joint exercises and drills in partner countries.
