YEREVAN — Delegations from Lithuania and Canada also visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex as part of their participation in the European Political Community Summit.
The delegation led by Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene visited the memorial accompanied by Lithuania’s Ambassador to Armenia Andrius Pulokas.
They were welcomed by Acting Director Hrachya Tashchyan, who presented the historical and symbolic significance of the memorial.
Separately, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand visited the memorial, accompanied by Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
During her visit, Anand also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum and was briefed on its exhibits and historical importance.
