YEREVAN — According to Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia,  the renovation of the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will be completed by April 24.

The Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex and museum remain open to visitors during the renovation period, and the ongoing works are expected to be completed within the scheduled timeframe, the minister said.

“The memorial complex and the museum are open and will not be closed on any day or at any hour, including April 24,” Andreasyan assured.

She explained that the installation of stone slabs on three pylons at Tsitsernakaberd has already begun, and that all necessary work is being carried out in cooperation with the professional community to ensure proper quality.

“There is no cause for concern for our citizens. Those who wish to visit may do so today, as the memorial remains open, and by April 24 the renovation work will be completed,” the minister concluded.
