The broadcast of the ecumenical service from Washington National Cathedral will begin at 7 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)

Washington, DC — The Ecumenical Service kicks off three days of commemorative activities around Washington D.C. featuring the Concert at the Strathmore, Divine Liturgy (Badarak) at the Shrine and Banquet at the Marriott Marquis hotel. Welcome to the thousands arriving in our nation’s capital over the next few days to take part in the activities.

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and His Holiness Aram I, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, both will be in the United States to lead the Washington commemoration. They will be joined by Armenians from across the U.S., under the auspices of the Eastern and Western Dioceses, and the Eastern and Western Prelacies.

US Vice President Joe Biden will be in attendance at the Ecumenical Service at the National Cathedral.
